In Psalm 63 david declairs, "early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee". The Gospel of Mark also tells
of Jesus getting up early in the morning, finding a place where he can be alone to pray.
I believe that the morning is a very special time for God. It says in the Psalms that His mercys are new every
morning, and I believe that it honors God when we give Him the first fruits of our day.
The early morning is a time of sacrifice, taking time that could have been spent getting a little more sleep and
spending it with our father instead. It is a time of laying down our desires at his feet, and surrendering our day to
